New Leaks About the RTX 4070: The Best Mid-Range Graphics Card

New Leak: RTX 4070 Founders Edition Photos Revealed by VideoCardz

Recently, VideoCardz leaked images of the Founders Edition version of the upcoming RTX 4070 graphics card.

The RTX 4070 will be the fourth card released by NVIDIA in the 4000 series lineup, based on the Ada Lovelace architecture and manufactured using a 4nm process. The RTX 4070 marks the transition point between the high-end and the mid-range segments.

The card features a dual-slot design and appears to be significantly smaller than the RTX 4080 Founders Edition. Its dimensions seem very similar — if not identical — to those of the RTX 3070 Founders Edition.
Despite its compact size, NVIDIA has equipped the card with a 16-pin power connector, although many custom models are expected to use a standard 8-pin power connector instead.

The PCB (Printed Circuit Board) of the RTX 4070 is designed in a short V-shape, meaning the secondary axial fan on the opposite side of the card is fully exposed, allowing for better airflow and cooling.

The RTX 4070 represents a welcomed shift in the Ada Lovelace lineup, offering a more compact solution that fits a wider range of PC builds, with or without power adapters.
In terms of connectivity, users will be able to connect up to four displays via one HDMI 2.1 port and three DisplayPort 1.4 outputs.

NVIDIA has officially announced that the RTX 4070 will launch on April 13, 2023, with the Founders Edition priced around $599 USD.
